This policy explains what information Boreal ("we", "us") collects when you use borealcool.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, phone calls, text messages and email.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request service, ask for a quote or apply for a job, we collect what you enter on the form, such as:

• Name, phone number, email address and ZIP code
• Service address, property type and the service you need
• Preferred appointment day and time
• For job applications: position, experience, driver's license status, work authorization and any résumé you attach

Information from service visits. When we work at your property we keep records of the equipment, the work performed, photos of the system, estimates, invoices and payment status.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the time of your visit.

• To schedule, perform and follow up on the service you request

4. Cookies and browser storage

Our site stores small pieces of data in your browser to remember your language choice (English or Spanish) and to cache the live Miami weather reading so it loads quickly. Weather data comes from the National Weather Service and Open-Meteo; those requests do not include your personal information. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address.

If we add advertising or analytics tools (for example, to measure ad results), we will update this policy. You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings.

5. Calls, texts and email

By giving us your phone number or email, you agree that we may contact you about your service request, appointment and account. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text message to opt out of further texts, or ask us to stop contacting you at any time. We will not send marketing messages without your consent.

6. How long we keep it

We keep service and invoice records for as long as needed to support warranties and to meet tax, licensing and legal requirements. Job applications are kept for a reasonable period in case another position opens. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

7. Security

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to customer information to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, so please do not send payment card numbers by email or through our website forms.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
