These terms apply when you use borealcool.com or book service with Boreal ("we", "us"). By using the website or scheduling service, you agree to them. The written estimate, work order or invoice for your specific job also applies, and if it conflicts with these terms, the estimate or work order controls.

1. Using our website

The information on our website, including blog articles, price ranges and the live weather reading, is for general information only. It is not a quote and does not replace an inspection by a licensed technician. Weather readings come from third-party sources and may differ from other services.

You agree not to misuse the site, submit false information, or try to interfere with how it works. Website content, logos and design belong to Boreal and may not be copied without permission.

2. Booking and appointments

Submitting a request on our website is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We confirm every appointment by phone, text or email. Arrival windows are estimates; traffic, weather and emergencies can cause delays, and we will let you know if we are running late.

3. Estimates and pricing

• A diagnostic or service call fee may apply. We tell you the amount before we arrive.
• We use flat-rate pricing. You will see and approve the price before any repair or installation work begins.
• Price ranges shown on our website, in ads or by phone are estimates. The final price depends on what we find on site, including equipment size, home layout, ductwork and access.
• Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless the estimate says otherwise. Equipment prices can change if manufacturer pricing changes.
• If we find additional problems during the job, we will explain them and get your approval before doing extra work.

4. Payment and financing

Payment is due when the work is complete unless your estimate or financing agreement says otherwise. Installations may require a deposit. Financing is provided by third-party lenders, subject to credit approval and the lender's own terms. Any rebate or tax credit amounts we mention are estimates; eligibility is decided by the program or the IRS, not by Boreal.

5. Access to your property

You agree to give our technicians safe access to the indoor and outdoor equipment and to let us know about pets, hazards or building rules. If you live in a condominium or gated community, you are responsible for any building approvals or access arrangements. Permits required for installations are obtained by Boreal and included in the installation price unless stated otherwise.

6. Warranties

Our workmanship warranty covers the labor we perform: one year on repairs and up to ten years on new installations, as stated on your invoice or estimate. Equipment and parts carry the manufacturer's warranty, which may require registration and regular maintenance. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, power surges, flooding, storms, lack of maintenance, or work done by others.

7. Maintenance plans

Maintenance plan benefits, pricing and billing (monthly or annual) are described when you enroll. Monthly plans can be canceled at any time; annual plans are billed in advance. Plan visits must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.

8. Limits of liability

We are licensed (CAC1823089) and insured, and we stand behind our work. To the extent allowed by Florida law, Boreal is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or spoiled food, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the work involved. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Florida law that cannot be waived.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida. Before filing any claim, we ask that you contact us so we can try to resolve it directly.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to services booked after the "Last updated" date.
